Abstract: Abstract Higher engineering education in China outputs a great number of qualified personnel for the country, while there are still some highlighted problems in this sector, which restricts the training of engineering personnel and development of the society to some extent. This paper analyzes causes of the problems and whereby comes up with corresponding countermeasures, including implementation of large-scale engineering concept, change of assessment method, encouragement of production-teaching combination, etc.
