Abstract: Abstract Literatures reviewing showed that the long-term abnormal postures caused operators to be suffered the musculoskeletal disorders. Despite the prevalence and cost of neck problems increased, few studies evaluated availably the physical characteristics associated with neck problems. Thus, the measurement method of neck strength had been developed and anthropometric measurements of neck and head had been conducted. Present study had been examined the effects of gender and postures on neck strength and anthropometric measurements of head and neck. In addition, the relationship of anthropometric measurements of head and neck and neck strength had been evaluated. Database of head and neck characteristics could be provided the basis to evaluate the Work-related Musculoskeletal Disorders of neck area.
