Abstract: Abstract This paper uses Eviews 6.0 metrology software, establishes a panel co-integration model based on the provincial panel data of the top 500 private enterprises of China from 2000 to 2011, to explore the long relationship between the regional distribution dynamic evolution of private 500 and the regional public welfare growth. The results show that the regional distribution density of the top 500 private enterprises and the regional public welfare growth have no obvious correlation, but changes in operating income of the top 500 private enterprises play a significant positive role in the related areas’ public welfare growth, and compare to the rural areas, there is a greater influence for urban residents. Therefore, the government must attach great importance to the large private enterprises’ main role in promoting coordinated regional development and overall urban-rural development.
