Abstract:
Abstract This paper builds a model for surgery scheduling in combination with surgeon shift scheduling in order to maximize the throughput of surgery performance in the hospital operational management and balance the closing time of operating rooms. The model is based on MIP technique and the solver CPLEX is used to solve it. At last a numeric example with real data from a large general hospital in West China is employed to prove the effectiveness and the superiority of the model.
