Abstract: Abstract Eco-efficiency is an important index on measuring sustainability status and circular economy development. As an important growth-pole of China’s economy in the twenty-first century, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Region has been facing the increasingly serious resources and environment problems with industrialization. Based on the related data from 2006 to 2008, the paper measures the eco-efficiency and input surplus of ten cities in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Metropolitan Region by DEA method, and then points out the improvement direction for the invalid cities. By the research, the paper aims at promoting ecological construction of the region and the country.
