Abstract:
Abstract The development-oriented poverty alleviation of the Guangcai Programme aims to alleviate poverty through projects, which is also advocated by contemporary international community. The mode aims to tap the potentials of poor population and to drive them to break off poverty through their own efforts. Since the reform and opening-up, China has experienced the transition from the relief-oriented mode to the development-oriented mode, both of which have made enormous contributions to poverty-relief career. For the construction of socialist market economy, however, the latter has unparalleled advantages. Therefore, the following chapter will primarily introduce the definition, features, history the two modes and the innovation of the Guangcai Mode.
