Abstract: Abstract As the most powerful state in the world, United States has made excessive efforts on the Energy Independence for nearly 40 years, and thanks to the innovation in extraction technology that leading a Shale Gas Revolution which makes American’s partly reached their dream. Although there is great debate over the shale gas development, it is exactly will change the world energy market; and not only that, the Shale Gas Revolution’s repercussions will beyond the energy market, it will also have a great influence upon geopolitics and economy. Shale Gas Revolution means totally differs to different countries, it can be a curse or a blessing depends mainly on geography. Shale Gas Revolution and the outlook of Energy Independence in America could promote its power in politics and economy, which means both an opportunity and a great challenge to China
