Abstract: Abstract The proactive fiscal policy implemented after 2008 subprime mortgage crisis in China stimulate the growth of local governments’ debt which has already reached a cordon level. This paper focuses on the potential risks that rapid growth of local government debt may produce. Through calculating some representative indexes, this paper analyze the current situation that local government face. And analyze the potential risks that local government may come across.
