Abstract: Abstract In the context of global warming and low-carbon economy becoming a new model of economic development, it has become an urgent and major issue that how to achieve the transformation of low carbon economy. As an example of ZaoZhuang, this paper firstly introduced current situation and main emerging problems in economic transformation, then analyzed the general idea of economic transformation of resource-based cities under low-carbon economic condition. In the end, it put forward some suggestions on industrial transformation of ZaoZhuang from the perspective of low-carbon economy.
