Abstract: Abstract With the further development of e-commerce, express delivery restricts e-commerce increasingly and prominently and express warehouse explosion becomes one of the major bottlenecks of delivery. This paper sets up the express logistics distribution system model based on System Dynamics to analyze express warehouse explosion, simulating the package inventory levels with VENSIM. Moreover, this paper considers two measures to deal with warehouse explosion: bringing in new sorting devices and hiring temporary sorters. And the two policies can be simulated in the established dynamic model, called policy experiment. Then a numeric example is given to verify the feasibility and scientificalness of the model.
