Abstract: Abstract On the basis of the analysis of hazardous chemicals land transport systems, hazardous chemicals land transport fault tree is constructed. Through the calculation of the basic events of the fault tree structure importance, there is a clearly main factor that may cause traffic accidents of hazardous chemicals. At the same time, through the analysis of the likely outcome of the hazardous chemicals traffic accident, risk index of the incident is concluded with the help of consequences severity index and possibility index, and a number of control measures are given.
