Abstract: Abstract This chapter gives an overview of exemplary enterprise applications that build on the changed foundations and database techniques described in this book. We will first describe how in-memory technology can be leveraged for the interactive analysis of point-of-sales data, followed by an example application for high performance in-memory genome analyses.
