A chapter in High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering ’98, 1999, pp 84-92 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The contrast mechanism in the Depolarization Near-field Scanning Optical Microscope is studied numerically. We solve the complete set of the vectorial Maxwell equations with the Green-dyade-formalism. The mathematical method and its numerical implementation are discussed in detail. First results like the polarization dependence of the image contrast are presented.
