Abstract: Zusammenfassung Zweifelsohne gehört Mathematica nicht zu den etablierten Statistik-Programmen. Ganz im Gegenteil: Die Stärke von Mathematica liegt im mathematisch-analytischen Bereich, und wer die ersten Arbeiten von Stephen Wolfram, dem „Schöpfer“ von Mathematica, kennt, weiß, daß die angewandte Mathematik im Zusammenhang mit Grundlagen zu zellulären Automaten bei der Entwicklung von Mathematica Pate stand.
