A chapter in High Performance Computing in Science and Engineering ’99, 2000, pp 239-240 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Many products in industry, e.g. space vehicles, airplanes, helicopters, trains, cars, engines, single crystals, machines in process engineering and nuclear engineering, are extremely complex systems that combine and integrate various highly advanced technologies. Their definitions and developments are carried out in complex and time consuming processes requiring a lot of high skilled people.
