Abstract:
Abstract Two models are proposed to describe the vibration of an elastic plate reinforced by fibers of shape memory alloys. Both are based on the micromechanical approach of the composite and for both existence and uniqueness of the solution is proved. Although both show good results in numerical simulations, they require long computing time. Therefore one model is homogenized, where the effective coefficents are obtained by a limit process and the convergence of the solution is proved. Numerical simulations are also done for the effective equations.
