Chapter Chapter 6 in The Method of Fractional Steps, 1971, pp 92-98 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Up to this point we have considered difference schemes of integration with accuracy of O (τ α + h β ), α,β ≤ 2.The corresponding iterative schemes produce accuracy of O(h β ). The method of fractional steps can be applied to obtain simple schemes of higher accuracy (s.h.a.),β > 2.
