Abstract: Zusammenfassung In diesem Teil muß noch stärker als in den vorangegangenen betont werden, daß nur einige Beispiele gebracht werden, die einen Einblick in die Mathematik der Chinesen, Inder und islamischen Völker geben sollen. Dabei beschränke ich mich sogar auf die ältere Mathematik, grob gesagt auf die Zeit, bevor westlicher Einfluß in diesen Ländern wirksam werden konnte.
