Pulsars

F. J. Dyson

A chapter in Hyperbolic Equations and Waves, 1970, pp 38-38 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The subject of pulsars is so new and so rapidly developing that no summary of the literature can have more than ephemeral value. Since the original announcement in February 1968 by the Cambridge group, it has become traditional to publish most of the new discoveries in letters to “Nature”. A fairly complete coverage of published work can be achieved by scanning the 1968 issues of “Nature”, “Science”, and “Astrophysical Journal Letters”.
