Abstract: Zusammenfassung Sei $$ >> \,unassign\,(x,\,a):\,y: = a + x; $$ $$ a + x $$ Da die Bezeichner a und x nur für sich selbst stehen, ist der „Wert“von y der symbolische Ausdruck a+x. Man hat genau zu unterscheiden zwischen dem Bezeichner y und seinem Wert. Genauer, als Wert eines Bezeichners soll dasjenige MuPAD-Objekt bezeichnet werden, welches das System durch Auswertung und Vereinfachung der rechten Seite der Zuweisung Bezeichner:=Wert zum Zeitpunkt der Zuweisung berechnet.
