Abstract: Zusammenfassung Zur Wirtschaftsmathematik zählen solche angewandten Gebiete wie Finanz- und Versicherungsmathematik, Operations Research und Optimierung, Anwendungen der Differentialrechnung in den Wirtschaftswissenschaften und weitere. Der Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der Entwicklung und Begründung quantitativer Modelle und Methoden sowie deren Anwendung bei der Untersuchung praktischer Aufgabenstellungen, insbesondere – aber nicht nur – im ökonomischen Umfeld.
