Abstract: Abstract The previous chapter discussed contradictory findings regarding success factors in new technology-based ventures and research-based spin-offs in particular. In view of these results, this study broadens the presented view and takes process-related aspects in the company into consideration as well. The main focus is on aspects of human capital and the impact of the executive team on organisational outcomes.
