Abstract: Zusammenfassung Deutschland weist hinter Frankreich, das für fast jede dritte Unternehmensinsolvenz Europas verantwortlich ist (30,1 %), den zweithöchsten Anteil an Unternehmenszusammenbrüchen in Europa aus. Etwa ein Fünftel (18,5 %) aller Insolvenzen Westeuropas betrafen im Jahr 2009 deutsche Unternehmen.
