Abstract:
Abstract The main purpose of this first chapter is to provide a comprehensive introduction to the research topic and the objectives of the present thesis. The chapter starts with an explanation of the research context, the acceptance of Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems. Next, the research aims and objectives are outlined and initial hypotheses are proposed, serving as a starting point and justification for the research. Thereafter the relevant stakeholders, involved in or affected by this research, will be highlighted.
