Abstract: Abstract In recent years, information technology (IT) has become indispensable in most large companies, and for some industries, like the financial industry, IT is the main production factor today. At the same time, many companies are heavily investing into new IT systems and capabilities. In order to cope with technological and strategic changes but also to drive innovation, constantly new IT project proposals accrue within these organizations. In this context, there is a trend to manage more and more organizational activities as projects.
