Abstract: Abstract Differentiated networks are made up of heterogeneous organisational units in different countries. Different subsidiaries can play different roles within the MNC network and numerous classifications of generic subsidiary strategies or roles are proposed. The aim of this Chapter is to give an overview of existing role typologies and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the various role typologies for International Management.
