Abstract: Zusammenfassung Wie so manche gute Geschichte begann auch diese ganz harmlos, vor sehr langer Zeit – vor mehr als vierhundert Jahren. Im Jahr 1611 veröffentlichte der Astronom und Mathematiker Johannes Kepler [18] ein Büchlein mit dem interessanten Titel „Vom Sechseckigen Schnee“, das er seinem Freund und Gönner, dem Prager Hofrat Wackher von Wackenfels, als Neujahrsgabe widmete.
