Abstract: Zusammenfassung Ferdinand Rudio (1856 - 1929) wurde 1880 bei Ernst Kummer und Karl Weierstraß in Berlin promoviert. Von 1889 bis 1928 war er Ordinarius für Matbematik in Zürich, und hier setzte er sich entscheidend für die Gesamtherausgabe von Rulers Werken ein.
