Abstract:
Abstract Elementary geometry is concerned with ″points″, ″lines″ and ″planes″ lying in ″space″ (Models Dimension). Except for planes, the simplest surfaces in 3-dimensional space IR3 are quadrics, i.e. zero sets of quadratic polynomials (Models Quadrics).
