Special Case—RPA in One-Time Situations

Mario Smeets, Ralph Erhard and Thomas Kaußler

Chapter Chapter 8 in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the Financial Sector, 2021, pp 133-136 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The proven application area of RPA is the automation of repetitive processes. However, RPA does not provide benefits only here. Even in one-time situations, RPA can be used to reduce costs, increase speed or improve quality. A practical example is data migration with RPA. This chapter uses such an example to explain the special features of these one-time applications.
