Abstract: Zusammenfassung Normen und auch weitere im Konsens erstellte und von öffentlich anerkannten Institutionen angenommene Standards haben zwar ursächlich einen wirtschaftlichen Hintergrund, stehen aber in einem inzwischen sehr wichtigen kausalen Zusammenhang mit der Planungs- und Konstruktionstätigkeit: Die nicht konkret greifbare, rechtliche Verpflichtung zur „ingenieurstechnischen Sorgfaltspflicht“.
