Abstract: Zusammenfassung Der internationale Handel von Gütern und Dienstleistungen ist ein weiterer Faktor zur Erklärung von Industrialisierung und De-Industrialisierung. Wir sehen zwei wichtige Kanäle. Zum einen ermöglicht der internationale Handel, dass die Produktion einzelner Produktionsschritte eines Produktes an weltweit verteilten Orten stattfinden kann.
