Abstract: Zusammenfassung C-3PO oder See-Threepio ist eine fiktionale Figur aus der „Star-Wars“-Reihe, die oft an der Seite von R2-D2 zu sehen ist. Im Gegensatz zu diesem handelt es sich um einen humanoiden Roboter. Er ist menschengroß, hat deutlich sichtbare maschinenhafte Elemente und ist von goldener Farbe. C-3PO soll bei der Berücksichtigung von Sitten und Gebräuchen auf fremden Planeten sowie bei Übersetzungen behilflich sein. Er kann als Prototyp eines sozialen Roboters angesehen werden.
