Chapter Chapter 3 in Advanced Microeconomics, 2021, pp 31-57 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Strategic-form decision theory is static. Once a decision maker has chosen his strategy $$s$$ s or $$\sigma $$ σ , he knows what to do and, depending on the state of the world $$\mathcal{w}$$ w , he obtains $$u$$ u ( $$s$$ s , $$\mathcal{w}$$ w ) or $$u$$ u ( $$\sigma $$ σ , $$\mathcal{w}$$ w ). We now turn to multi-stage decision making, also called extensive-form decision making.
