The tools proposed here are to be understood as suggestions that can be extended, modified and cancelled. Can such an approach to project managementProject management be standardized throughout the organization, as has become common in organization-wide project managementProject management? To answer this question, a first look is taken at organization-wide standardizationStandardization efforts, in particular project managementProject management maturity modelsMaturity models, and then their advantages and disadvantages are elaborated (Sect. 5.1). On this basis, a proposal for standardizing “Lean Project ManagementLean project management” will then be made in a second step (Sect. 5.2).
