Making Data Pay
Philipp Schönbucher
A chapter in Neue Geschäftsmodelle für Finanzinstitute - Datenanalyse, Digitale Technologien und Wertewandel als Impulsgeber, 2022, pp 39-48 from Springer
Abstract:
Zusammenfassung The financing of trade and business transactions is a centuries-old business which is one of the oldest segments of banking. Over time a complex ecosystem of financial instruments, intermediaries, institutions, and transaction types has evolved over which it is hard to maintain an overview. To name just a few, the zoo of instruments and actors include factoring, receivables finance, letters of credit, bank guarantees, export finance and credit agencies, trade credit insurance, credit cards, purchase order finance, dynamic discounting, and supply chain finance.
