Abstract: Abstract When optimizing manual assembly processes under the aspects of lean production, the topic of ergonomics must be put first. What is ergonomic is also optimal. Flexible manpower systems enable a flexible response to different market fluctuations. The productivity of the employees is kept at the same high level.
