Abstract: Abstract Who sets the pace of a process chain and how are the individual processes coordinated with each other? These questions are addressed by the topic of tacting with the definition of the customer tact and the tact time out of different processes. Visualizations and calculations support the balancing of different processes. The core problem of a process chain is the bottleneck.
