Abstract: Zusammenfassung Dieses Buch zeigt, wie sich das komplexe Feld regionaler Innovationsförderung theoretisch und praktisch erfassen lässt. Die umfassende Auseinandersetzung mit ganz grundsätzlichen Begrifflichkeiten wie Innovation, Region, Innovationsindikatoren, Innovationskompetenz oder Innovationsförderung wurde am Beispiel der mittelständisch geprägten Region des Münsterlands veranschaulicht. Dabei wurden drei zentrale Fragen beleuchtet:
