Abstract: Abstract This article presents a comparative analysis of the perception of the cryptocurrency phenomenon based of the results of the research conducted synchronously in two countries, Poland and Russian Federation. Its aim was to capture the similarities and differences in the perception of the cryptocurrency phenomenon among representatives of both countries. The results of the research allow to conclude that among the respondents from Poland and Russia there are significant differences in terms of the subjective perception of the cryptocurrency market and the level of trust in the current financial system.
