Abstract: Abstract In recent years it has been increasingly recognized that all tourist destinations have limits to their carrying capacity. These include infrastructure maximums for tourists, the capacity of the natural environment and the socio-cultural sustainability of the local population. In addition, tourism exacerbates climate change through greenhouse gases.
