Abstract: Abstract The business processes can generally be divided into two flows, the material flow and the information flow, Fig. 2.1. The information flow within the company starts with the order entry and the input into the ERP system. If no ERP is available, Excel is used in most cases. The information then passes over to development, purchasing and planning.
