A chapter in Work and AI 2030, 2023, pp 133-141 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The introduction of AI in companies and other organisations offers opportunities and potentials both for employees, such as relief by AI systems, and for companies, such as process improvements or new business models. The introduction of AI has peculiarities that affect both the change management and the participation of the employees, including the processes of co-determination. The following chapter pursues the goal of raising awareness for the requirements of change management in AI and supporting the implementation of the introduction of AI systems with different phases of the change process. An important success factor is the involvement of the employees and the mobilisation for the use of the new technologies. If we apply a goal-oriented and human-oriented change management already today, this helps to achieve a successful use of AI technology in the working world 2030.
