Data Security
Thomas Schneider
Chapter 2 in Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, 2023, pp 5-11 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Increasing digitalization creates a wide range of opportunities, but also leads to new, greater risks. Without effective data protection, the very existence of a company is now at risk. Security in a dynamic world can only be guaranteed by means of dynamic solutions. Controlling is not responsible for data security in the technical sense, but it can demand and implement the right perspective. A central question has to be answered: Is data security an enigma or a mystery? “Rational analysts” are predestined to unravel mysteries, while “creative spinners” uncover secrets. It is the task of controlling to involve both groups without allowing one point of view to dominate.
