Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes the challenges and opportunities that social media presents for purchasing. In addition to the purchase of social media services and software, it also deals with the use of social media for maintaining contacts and selecting suppliers as well as the communicative impact of purchasing decisions. Decision criteria for the selection of social media service providers and software are also listed.
