Chapter Chapter 10 in Breaking Free from the Chains of Role Ascriptions, 2024, pp 149-151 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract When women become powerful, the regime of role assignments loses its effect. For it has long lived off male power and male self-confidence. To question the regime and even to withdraw from it requires reflection and resulting clarity, as well as self-confidence and resulting courage. And this is on the part of women. True power comes from within. In the outside world, power works through status, money, and influence. But when the outside offers no opportunities for power, the key to gaining external power is the development of internal power.
