Chapter Chapter 5 in Cooperation Between Companies and Non-profit Organizations, 2024, pp 129-139 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Cooperations between non-profit organizations and companies are becoming increasingly important. It’s not just about ever-increasing sums, but also more and more actors are involved. At the same time, the risks and dangers increase with the growing volumes. One of these is the lack of transparency, which can lead to open questions, skepticism, and mistrust, especially for outsiders. But it is also important internally that people who are thinking about cooperations between companies and non-profit organizations for the first time know how to develop them strategically and also secure them in such a way that they are credible and justifiable. The roadmap presented here is intended to provide the necessary suggestions and “checks and balances” for this. It outlines a practical and implementable path to credible and justifiable cooperations, including the individual steps that need to be considered.
