Chapter Chapter 1 in PsyConversion®, 2024, pp 1-4 from Springer
Abstract:
Summary We all believe we have the freedom of will and are masters of our decisions. In most cases, however, this is not the reality. Evolutionarily, our behavior is primarily based on subconscious patterns of action – the behavior patterns. This disruptive insight changes how we view our existence, society, and purchasing and consumption decisions. This is precisely what PsyConversion® is all about: The book explains how we make decisions and what unconscious mechanisms underlie these processes. This knowledge is the key to a deeper understanding of the customer in two ways: E-commerce professionals can design more intuitive websites that customers can operate smoothly and effortlessly. As a result, previously unimagined conversion potential will be leveraged, and digital business key performance indicators will be significantly improved. These effects are measurable and are considered a multi-billion dollar business globally. It is obvious that the use of behavior patterns must occur within the framework of narrowly defined ethical and moral guardrails. PsyConversion® has become more than a source of inspiration; it is the standard reference for the daily optimization of all digital projects.
