Abstract:
Abstract This chapter introduces the prisoner’s dilemma from game theory, provides a game-theoretical explanation for the frequent implementation of price promotions in retail, and discusses a strategy to avoid the prisoner’s dilemma in repeated games from a theoretical perspective.
