Chapter Chapter 10 in Organizational Design in a Complex and Unstable World, 2024, pp 193-208 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Models and concepts for organizational design are subject to fashion fluctuations. Management fashions are promoted by different actors, for example, from business practice, consulting organizations, and educational organizations. Fashions have a typical cycle. However, despite their fashionable character, these concepts are not flawed or inferior. Management fashions can become evergreens with a high degree of practical relevance. A conceptual framework that locates current concepts and models and outlines future challenges can be discussed under the heading Organization x.0.
